Collective Worship at Kendall aims to provide an opportunity for the spirituality of all our children and adults to find expression and development. It should encourage a sense of awe and wonder, foster respect for the world and its peoples, and celebrate the worth of those Vision Values which the school holds in communion.
‘We are made in the image of God and are loved by God. Each one of us is special; and of worth.’ Genesis 1:27
Throughout each week, collective worship takes a variety of different forms and is led both by the adults and the children through our active worship committee.
Marvellous Monday - Celebration Assembly
Tuneful Tuesday - Celebrating Vision Values & Learning Songs that Express our Vision
Worship Wednesday - Look at the Theme of the Week
Thoughtful Thursday - Whole-school Collective Worship and Invitation to Respond to Theme of the Week
Faith-filled Friday - Class-based Collective Worship
Each week is centred around a theme carefully selected by our Worship Committee. You can view our current themes by downloading the attachment below. Our worship is supported by our Forest Friends who make regular appearances to help the children and adults come together in collective worship.
