Our Chosen Charities

The School Council have chosen:

We will be supporting BBC Children in Need in November and then raising funds for Purple Pinkies for Polio in February.

Our First Big Decision

The School Council's first big decision is to choose which two charities we will raise funds for this year. We have created the following shortlist of very deserving charitable organisations:

The councillors are now returning to their classes for the children to decide.

September 2019

Our School Council members have now been elected and the first meeting has been held. All of the councillors have read and signed the constitution and we have elected a chair and a vice-chair to run our meetings. The children are very much looking forward to making a difference for everyone at Kendall.

Our School Council aims to ensure that all pupils have:

 A voice!

A safe, happy, fair learning environment.

A forum to voice their concerns and act upon them.

An opportunity to take an active part in the management of the school.

A sense of ownership over policy and practice.

An understanding of the British Value of Democracy and how this ensures fairness and equality for all.

Our school council members for 2019/20 are:

Year 2 - Tinarwo & Freddie
