Parents‎ > ‎

Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) raises money for the school by organising a wide range of events. These have included School Discos, Summer and Christmas Fayres, Easter Egg hunts, School Quizzes and a Fun Run. Any monies raised are solely for the benefit of pupils, and spent on equipment, trips and extracurricular activities.

The PTA always needs volunteers and donations for its fund-raising events, and welcomes any ideas and suggestions from parents. So, if you have a few hours to spare - whether you wish to be a regular committee member, or a one-off volunteer - your help and support will be greatly appreciated.

The committee meets on a fairly regular basis, usually after school, and the meetings are very relaxed and informal, so please don’t feel intimidated! Children are welcome, and are provided with colouring material and  sometimes snacks to keep them entertained.

Interested? Then contact the Secretary - Sarah Topple, via the office, who will be very happy to meet with you for a chat at your convenience.

Are you planning a spring clean during the school holiday? Do you need to de-clutter your wardrobe? Do you have clothes your children have grown out of?

Our Funds4Schools clothing bank has been a great success. Schemes like this help the PTA to pay for ‘extras’ such as school visits, so thank you for your continued support.

Please continue to fill your plastic bags with unwanted clothes, pairs of shoes, handbags, belts, bed sheets, towels, cosmetics, curtains and put them in the Clothing Bank. The textiles are sold to Third World countries, so not only will you be doing your bit for the environment, you will also be helping people in poor countries.

The clothes bank is situated in the corner of the staff car park near the bicycle shed.

Please donate as much of your unwanted clothes as you can! Thank you again for your support.

Any orders made through Stamptastic will earn the PTA commission!

Please quote our code CO12HH when using Stamptastic.
