 At the end of last week Year 6 enjoyed two Fabulous Finishes for
their Q2 history topic - Ancient Maya. On Thursday they had a visit from Maya
archaeologist Vanessa. Throughout the day they were engaged in activities
such as: trying on Maya clothes, learning to dig like an archaeologist,
learning about the Maya Gods and tasting traditional Maya food. They all had an
amazing time and the activities really helped to consolidate their knowledge of
the ancient Maya civilisation. |
