Year 5 trip to Cudmore Grove

Year Five enjoyed an amazingly well organised day at Cudmore Country Park. The day involved exciting activities such as: identifying and finding different rock types, exploring a real bunker from World War 2, learning about and acting out the different ways that rocks are formed as well as making our own model beaches to investigate erosion. We spent a long time on the beach and it was very hands on! Our park ranger (Louise) led the day and we learnt so much about rocks and their properties.
