On Wednesday 8th May, EYFS went to Boydells Farm as a Fabulous Finish to quarter 3.  We had an amazing day learning about how a farm works, how the animals are cared for and what we use the animals for.  We each had a go at milking 'Moo-tilda', met Laurence the llama, fed a range of animals including Shetland ponies, goats, lambs and calves. We met chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs, alpacas, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks and kids.  We learnt about the many different birds on the farm and looked at each of their eggs.   Did you know that a cow has no top front teeth?  It was a wonderful learning opportunity and the wet weather didn't stop us!
