On Saturday 25th June, I went to
the University of Essex for my Children’s University Graduation Ceremony. At the ceremony, after all the awards had
been handed out, I went to the front and sang ‘Brave Souls’ from Dolphin Tale 2
in front of 200 people!
Ethan
Year 5 We
are incredibly proud of Ethan and all the other children that take part in the
Children’s University Scheme. Children’s
University encourages children to take part in extra-curricular learning,
gaining hours towards awards. This can
include the arts, visiting places of historical interest e.g. Colchester
Castle, sports activities and many others.
At Kendall all of our clubs are accredited, meaning children can work
towards awards at school, as well as through external providers (see a full
list of local providers on the Children’s University website). At
Kendall we provide the passports free of charge and these are available from
Year 1 upwards from the office.
