Year 1 were lucky enough to visit and explore
Abberton Reservoir. The first activity that we took part in was a
mini beast hunt. We looked at the different types of mini beasts and their
habitats. Everyone had a go at pond dipping and had fun identifying the
creatures that they found. After lunch, we were quizzed on our knowledge of
plants. Year 1 had some excellent answers and really impressed our tour guide
with their knowledge! We then had to identify different types of trees making
sure we were looking closely at the shape of the leaves and other important
clues. Year 1 represented the school beautifully and showed many of Kendall’s core
Christian values throughout the day and had a super time! |
