Full Opening

From the 7th September, we were delighted to be welcoming all of our children back after the Summer Break. Some things have changed and below you will find information about our plans and our Risk Assessment. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us by emailing the office: admin@kendall.essex.sch.uk

School Pick up and Drop off

At the beginning of the school day all children are dropped off at the school gate. We strongly encourage all parents to follow the one-way system for dropping off: approaching the school along the right-hand path before crossing over once children have been dropped off. Please observe a social distance between families whiclst dropping off using the markers to assist you.

Children are welcome to arrive on the school site between 8:30 and 8:50 and will go straight into their classrooms where their class teacher will waiting for them.

At the end of the day, children will walk to Old Heath Recreation Ground in their class bubbles where they will need to be collected next to their allocated tree. Children will be leave school at 3:15pm and will need to be collected from the Rec between 3:20pm-3:25pm.

Mrs French's Welcome Back Newsletter

Our Risk Assessment (see right panel) is a large document that outlines our full provision for reopening.

Whilst we would encourage everyone to take the time to read the full Risk Assessment, we understand that you may forget key information and need to look something up quickly.

Mrs French's Welcome Back Newsletter outlines the key reminders and pointers for parents and carers and should be a handy reference point for those sending their children to school.

Remote Learning

If your child is unable to attend school due to Covid-19 restrictions, they will need to access our remote learning provision. Please click here for all of the information you will need.
Risk Assessment

Our Risk Assessment outlines all of the actions and precautions we are taking to reduce the risk of transmission at Kendall. It also describes the plan for daily routines and includes timetables.

Please be aware that this is a working document and will be subject to some changes as the school re-opens. We will update it as and when necessary and inform parents and carers of any changes.

You will always find the most up to date version on this page.
