Reopening

The government have now reviewed the current scientific evidence and have concluded that it is not currently feasible for all pupils to return to school before the summer break.

The government have now expressed their intention for all primary pupils to return to school in September. We are currently awaiting further guidance as to how this will be managed and will report to all parents when we have been able to make the neccessary arranagements.

Current Provision

Kendall CE Primary School is currently welcoming back all EYFS and Year 1 pupils as well as the children of key workers or those identified as requiring additional support.

We are now working at our maximum capacity whilst mainting social distancing requirements. Currently, we cannot accommodate Year 6 children because we do not have the physical space to do so.

As time moves on, government restrictions MAY mean we can take more children back into school. If you would like your child/ren to be considered for a space, should one become available, please email admin@kendall.essex.sch.uk and we will hold a waiting list.

Risk Assessment and Planning

Our Risk Assessment outlines all of the actions and precautions we are taking to reduce the risk of transmission at Kendall. It also describes the plan for daily routines and includes timetables.

Please be aware that this is a working document and will be subject to some changes as the school re-opens. We will update it as and when necessary and inform parents and carers of any changes.

You will always find the most up to date version on this page.
