Welcome to Kendall Church of England Primary School

There is so much to celebrate at Kendall Church of England Primary School. We are a welcoming, happy school where everyone is helpful, considerate and respectful of each other. The children at Kendall are delightful and clearly enjoy their learning. We are also very fortunate to have such a dedicated team of teachers, learning support assistants and other support staff who strive to ensure that every child here is successful, confident and responsible. By the time our children leave us in year 6, we will have all done our very best to make sure that they are equipped with all the skills they need to continue on their future learning journey.

We very much value the support and contribution that parents make to school life. Our school newsletters regularly outline our priorities and aims as well as explaining practical ways in which parents can help and support their child’s learning. In partnership with the school, parents can help us to achieve the very best possible outcomes for their children. By working together, we aim to provide a happy, caring and effective learning environment, where expectations and standards are high. Our curriculum enables our children to achieve high standards by developing their thinking skills and creativity through carefully planned lessons, trips and visits and learning outside the classroom, for example, in our popular Forest School lessons. It is a curriculum that encourages confidence and provides opportunities for all of our pupils to be excited about learning and challenged to achieve their very best.

I am proud to be Headteacher of our Church School and to share aspects of our school life and work with you.

Mrs Clare French, Headteacher
